A Community Rich in History
The Salt River Indian Community is one of 22 Native American tribes in Arizona and is rich in history, culture and entertainment. In addition to owning and operating several successful enterprises including Salt River Materials Group and Saddleback Communications, the Salt River Indian Community has found great success in keeping their heritage of hospitality alive with enterprises such as Talking Stick Resort, Talking Stick Golf Club and Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. The Salt River Indian Community is also known for collaborating with developers that share their value of family and hospitality, bringing entertainment and commerce like Medieval Times, White Castle, and Topgolf to the Talking Stick Entertainment District.
With nationally known venues and one-of-a-kind attractions, Salt River’s Talking Stick Entertainment District offers plenty to see and do. The Talking Stick Entertainment District has over 15 entertainment venues within a few mile stretch, which now also includes seven hotel properties, Arizona Boardwalk at Talking Stick, Mavrix, Octane, iFly, annual festivals and cultural events.

The Salt River Indian Community’s Tourism Division was created in 2012 and focuses much of its effort celebrating the Talking Stick Entertainment District. A small, but mighty team of five, share the duty of sharing the story of the Salt River Indian Community and the tourism that they offer to visitors from around the globe.
