Moving can be a hectic time for just about anyone. Check out the Phoenix Relocation Guide and other community resources for fun things to do, places to go as well as for practical information like school districts, registration and Phoenix utilities.
Call ahead to have utilities connected at your new home the day before your scheduled move-in (resources for phone Internet cable gas electric and other utilities are listed below.) Check to make sure the utilities have been connected and follow up on any delays. Fun fact, moving companies advise to prevent possible damage to televisions, stereos, computers and other major appliance, do not use them for 24 hours. This will allow them to acclimate to the dry Arizona climate.
